STEALTH BAZOOKA TESTIMONIALS:

What a wonderful and Patriot way to get on the HF bands. The neighbors love it! The antenna construction and performance were excellent. It was easy to install. I would not change a thing about the antenna. George Fritkin W6GF

Being the proud owner of a 75 meter double bazooka and a 40 meter double bazooka both made by IAC I had to try International Antenna Corporations new SB-10 Stealth vertical. I live in a deed restricted community but antennas are allowed so I could have put up a tower and beam but I wanted my property to blend in with my neighbors and not look like an antenna farm so I knew the stealth flagpole antenna was the only solution for 20 and 17 meters. I get numerous comments as to how nice my "flagpole" looks. Little do they know how well the flagpole substitutes for a superb radio antenna. With the low angle of radiation the SB-10 pulls in the DX stations and gives me S9 Plus signal reports. With the antenna capable of handling the maximum legal limit is just another Plus not to mention the excellent construction material and workmanship. For the ham who lives in a deed restricted community that do no allow antennas or the ham who does not like his yard cluttered up with antennas the SB-10 is the answer. I have been hamming for over forty years and I think I was born on 40 meters so I contacted IAC and suggested they build a Stealth vertical (flagpole) antenna for 40 meters. I hope they come through so then I will have a great looking flagpole in my front and back yard. I was so impressed with my 40 meter double bazooka dipole I ordered another one and now run a two element double bazooka phased array and that is the greatest I have ever used on 40 meters.

DOUBLE BAZOOKA TESTIMONIALS:

"I keep getting asked on the air what kind of antenna I am using. Most contacts marvel at my signal strength. I then explain that I use an International Antenna Co. Double Bazooka antenna in a phased array. There always seems to be curiosity. But I smile and go on my way down the band and find another person asking the same question. It has taken me many years to find the "right" combination. I discovered the IAC Double Bazooka a few years ago. I have built many of them over the years with "good" results but not EXCELLENT results. Mainly because my materials and assembly technique was not as professional. Because of the nature of the beast the weak link is making a feed point strong and reliable. IAC however perfected this weak link. Couple that with all mil. Spec. materials and excellent construction and you have one superb antenna. One of my latest results was working KC4AAA on 40 meters. It"s not really big feat to work the south Pole on 20M but when it comes to 40M it starts to make you think. Especially the way the sunspot cycle has been and we are at the bottom. The interesting part is that the operator was hearing me at 5/9 and I was hearing him at S7 to S8. He was using an Alpha and I was running only 800 Watts on my Ameritron. Not only did I make the contact on a Monday night but I worked him with the same results on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well. Always with the same results. My signal was always the strongest with less power. Goes to prove it is all in the antenna. When you think about it, the antenna is the weakest link in the chain. Makes sense that is where to concentrate your best efforts and the highest quality. You can buy expensive audio equipment, use the finest source of music and hook it to lousy speakers and it still sounds terrible. But you can take an inexpensive stereo and connect it to great speakers and it will sound great. It's the same thing in Ham radio. I hear guys all the time running the best equipment and it's connected to a lousy antenna and it still sounds lousy. Makes sense, doesn't it. Spend it up front for a good antenna and you won't need all that other stuff and you'll end up with more in the bank and better signal reports. And IAC antennas deliver those kinds of results. No other antenna I have ever used has given me consistent, reliable results and in addition the antenna requires little to no maintenance. It just hangs there and works. Isn't that what we all want? That, is why I have IAC antennas on 75M and 40M Bands. I have also used them on 20M with amazing results as well." Bob KD4LIR

"I have been using 'bazooka' antennas since 1980. Several members of our newly formed test team for the development of what consequently turned out to be the HEIL SOUND HC-5 and HC-4 microphone elements, were on 7240 every night....experiementing. One month I had decided to test antennas. Put up a reference dipole at 33ft so we could have something to comare with. Each night of that month I would come on the air with different antennas. The simple ole 40 meter coaxial dipole at 66' always came out on top. Then I put another one 66' west of the original with a phasing stub. This is one fine 40 meter antenna. I have also done this for 75. Great bandwidth. NEVER need a tuner. I have an entire chapter devoted to the 'bazooka' and the phasing harness in the 'HEIL HAMRADIO HANDBOOK'. I bought one of Dave's (IAC) commerical made bazooka's about two years ago. He and his wife are wonderful to deal with and the product speaks for itself. The big problem with home brew bazookas is the center supports. Hard to keep water out and make it strong enough. One can eventually do it but why waste all that time when you COULD HAVE been on the air having fun! Great antenna. Wonderful company." BOB HEIL, K9EID

"IAC double bazooka antennas are without question the best I have ever used in my 27 years of ham radio. I personally have built several dipoles, purchase many of the commercial models, but until I tried the IAC antenna, I was not satisfied with any of their performances. My introduction to IAC was purely by accident. I was searching QTH.COM one day to see what was for sale and noticed an ad where a ham wanted to buy a IAC antenna and he was specific that he wanted no other antenna but IAC. My curiosity got the best of me and I emailed him to find out why only IAC's double bazooka, and he gave me his testimonial of his experience. I was so impressed with his commitment to the product I ordered the 80 Meter double bazooka the next day. After only about two weeks I was just as committed. Everyone was telling me how strong my signal was and I was hearing everyone much stronger than before. During raining weather I did not have the static noise that I was used to on a bare wire antenna, the performance was fantastic. I immediately ordered the 40 meter model and have been equally impressed. Since the introduction of the 160 Meter Shorty, I ordered one of those as well. I did have a problem with the shorty antenna breaking at the center insulator because of the weight of the loading coils, but let me say this, Dave was right on top of the problem and shipped me a new antenna right away. IAC's devotion to customer service and a quality product is a breath of fresh air in a day where not many manufactures care about customer service and only concentrate on sales. I highly recommend their product and encourage anyone who wishes to contact me personally if they want further details regarding the IAC Double Bazooka". Bill Scott, NM4K

"A friend of mine told me about the Double Bazooka and he built one, it sounded great but after about one season it broke, I brought a IAC Double Bozooka so about two and a half years ago. Have been very very pleased with it ever since, It takes the power and tunes easy for any part of the 75 meter band you want at 1 to 1 SWR and will cover any part of the 75 meter voice part with low SWR. Most signels are about 2 to 3 S units above my W9INN 20-40-80 meter dipole and the clearity is very close to the same, this antenna replaced a very good G5RV 10/80 meter dipole, that worked good on 75 meters but was down about about 3 S units from my W9INN dipole" KB6HRT

"I have had one of your Double Bazooka antennas up for years. In fact it has been close to 10 years or so. This fall/winter the support line broke and it came down. It was getting quite cold and I thought that the antenna certainly served me well. I just left it in the ground for the winter. The coax wasn't involved nor the actual feed point. The ends had laided in the snow and very wet spring since it came down. I had a conversation with a few friends and we all agreed it would be junk when the weather got better. Today I had time to put the pull line back up and thought I should give it a try before I junk it along with the coax. To my amazement, the SWR was fine and it is back on the air. I think you already know that the antenna is about 10 DB quiter than a dipole. It tranmitts as well as any half walf antenna also." WB2NEW JOHN

"I have needed to get on 75 meters and was looking for a well built wire antenna. My reasearch has lead me to the I.A.C. Double Bazooka. This is the finest quality antenna is have used. It has met all my expectations and is also very broadbanded. I don't know what else one could want in and monobander, this one fits the bill." AG4NX Joe McIvor

"Although I hold an extra Class License, I am a novice in many ways. (on HF since Nov. '96) Yet I have had virtually no problem breaking pile-ups with the DOUBLE BAZOOKA and 400 watts. My DXCC country was Bosnia on 80 meters. Boy was I a happy Ham!" AE4ZJ

"My 40m double bazooka has been up for 4 years, without a hitch. I run 2w QRP, up to 1500w, and get great performance both ways. Tuner not needed anywhere on the band. Highly recommended." W4SK

"The 40 Meter antenna is a very good antenna and seems to out perform inverted vee's and dipoles. I easily worked VK0IR Heard Island with it." W0HH

"The DOUBLE BAZOOKA is a great improvement over my dipole and worth the price." KA0QNO

"I have been at the ham game since 1956 and have bought, built, and experimented with every conceivable 80 meter antenna except a YAGI. Your DOUBLE BAZOOKA PHASED ARRAY ANTENNA is by far the best performing 80 meter antenna I have ever used. The front-to-back and forward gain are outstanding. It is a good DX antenna." Overall Comment: "Outstanding front-to-back and forward gain, very quiet compared to most 80 meter antennas. Best antenna used for dx on 80m in 40+ years of amateur radio." K4JLD

"Results on all bands (10 thru 80 meters) are outstanding. This antenna out performs all wire antennas without exception. Previous antenna designs would not hold up and wire components would separate. A tree fell on my DOUBLE BAZOOKA during a storm. The antenna sustained no damage. This antenna is a real brute!" K4TTO

"I would like to take this opportunity to commend IAC for the construction of a superb antenna. I have had my 80 meter double bazooka in the air (one end at 45 feet and the other at 80 feet) for almost a year and when hurricane Bonnie (Aug. 98) came into Virginia Beach at about 80 MPH (with higher wind gusts) the double bazooka stayed up there through the entire hurricane. I had taken my 20 meter and 40 meter antennas down because they were verticals and easy to lay on the ground but I just knew when I got up the next morning the 80 meter Double Bazooka would be on the ground but to my surprise it was still hanging between the two trees. I'm sure any other wire antenna would not have survived the hurricane. IAC has done an excellent job constructing an antenna capable of withstanding the elements of a hurricane."

Greg Morrisette (W4TUT)

"It was easy to tune and it works great." W0LAW

"I have never had a better antenna." W4UFY

"My DOUBLE BAZOOKA (80meter) has consistently out performed my full wave 80 meter delta-loop on both sending and receiving . I was also surprised to find the DOUBLE BAZOOKA to be as quiet on receiving as a closed loop type of antenna." W6RF

"Good construction!" "Good working!" "Can't ask for anything more!" W4FLA

"The DOUBLE BAZOOKA improved an S9 signal to about 15 or 20 over S9 both on RX and TX in reference to an inverted "V". KA4NYD
